How does beverage catering work?
-
What is beverage catering?
A simple elegant and creative solution for beverage service during the events that mean the most. Small intimate parties, showers, weddings, Mitzvah's, Quinceanera, anniversaries, and family celebrations.
We also do events such as gala's, private dinner events, and garden parties.
-
I have to buy my own alcohol?
Yes, all services come dry, meaning you provide the alcohol. This is due to liquor licensing laws in the state of Minnesota.
We do not transport or purchase the alcohol for you, instead we support you in finding vendors that deliver and giving you a detailed shopping list to ensure you have an easy and efficient experience.
-
How do I know what alcohol I need for my event?
After our consultation and your paid deposit. You will be provided with a list of preferred vendor's contact along with a detailed purchase list for easy and efficient shopping experience.
-
Can I get kegs for my event instead of bottles?
At this time we do not tap kegs. We do not have the systems to keep your kegs cold for the duration of the event, meaning we can't ensure the quality of your service that we require.
-
How do I know your policies and operating procedures. ?
Your contract will come with a policy and procedures guide. The policy and procedures guide is located at the bottom of our "about us" page.
-
Why won't you serve shots, doubles or neats?
To make sure your event runs smoothly, we do not serve drinks that can quickly get guests intoxicated. Our insurance policy also prevents us from offering these types of drinks to lower the risk of costly claims from accidents caused by heavy intoxication.
-
What do I need to provide for the beverage service at my event.
All you need to provide is the alcohol and the transportation of the alcohol of to your event.
Lemon Daisy will fulfil all of the other needs for your services. Mixers, sodas (unless provided by your venue) garnishes and toppers, cups, straws, napkins, and ice.
Lemon Daisy brings the bar/s, ice chests, bartending tools, 2 trash receptacles per bar.
-
Can I put decorations on your bar?
Yes, small decorations at either end of the bar are allowable. No floor decorations around the bar are allowed for safety. The center of the bar will be kept clear for sanitary purposes while serving.
-
When do I need my final menu and guest count?
Lemon Daisy charges by rounding up your guest count to the next guest grouping by quarter measure. For example 115 guests rounds up to 125 guests.
Lemon Daisy requires the approximate guest count and signed finalized menu 30 days prior to your event. This allows us to use our retailers that can provide you with the best quality at the best price.
-
Is my booking transferable if my event is cancelled?
Cancelation within 90 days forfeits your full deposit and are not transferable without proof of life altering circumstances, or a state of emergency on the date of the event.
